1. Overview
At Daydream Stitchery, we work hard to make sure every customer is delighted with their purchase.
Our products include both digital downloads (patterns, designs, and colour palettes) and physical stitching supplies.
Because of the nature of digital products and the handcrafted materials we sell, our refund and return conditions differ slightly between these two types of products.
2. Digital Downloads
You cannot return or request a refund for a digital product after you purchase and download it.
This includes (but is not limited to):
⢠Cross stitch patterns
⢠Hand embroidery designs
⢠Embroidery thread colour palettes
We provide detailed descriptions and preview images for each listing so that you can make an informed choice before purchasing.
If you experience a technical issue with your file (such as a corrupt or missing download), please email alisia@daydreamstitchery.com – weâll make sure you receive a working version promptly.
3. Physical Products
We pack every item with great care and send it in perfect condition.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we require you to contact us within 14 days of delivery. In your contact, you need to include your order number and photos of the issue.
Weâll happily replace or refund your item once the issue is verified.
Please note:
⢠We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind.
⢠All items you return must be in their original, unused condition with all packaging intact.
⢠Daydream Stitchery will cover return shipping costs if the item is faulty or incorrect. In all other situation, it is the buyer’s responsibility to cover the costs of return postage.
4. Shipping and Delivery Delays
We use trusted postal and courier services for international shipping, and delivery times may vary depending on location and customs processing.
Unfortunately, we canât take responsibility for delays caused by postal carriers, customs agencies, or circumstances outside our control.
5. Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, you can request this before it ships by emailing alisia@daydreamstitchery.com
You cannot cancel an order after we dispatch it.
You cannot cancel a digital download once you complete payment, because the files deliver instantly and cannot be recovered.
6. Affiliate Links and Recommended Products
I often share affiliate links or recommend products I personally use and enjoy. These links take you to an external website where third-party retailers sell and fulfil the items. My refunds and returns policy applies only to products bought directly through my shop. You need to direct any questions, returns, or refund requests to the retailer you purchased from.
7. Consumer Guarantees (Australia)
If a product you purchase from Daydream Stitchery fails to meet a consumer guarantee – for example, if itâs not of acceptable quality or not as described – you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
These guarantees apply automatically and cannot be excluded.
This policy complies with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
